I have over 18 years experience within the beauty industry including over 8 years in specialist laser hair removal. I have numerous qualifications including NVQ Level 2,3 and 4.

THE SCIENCE BIT
Excess facial and body hair is due to hereditary factors and hormonal events such as puberty, pregnancy, menopause and other hormonal conditions like PCOS. Due to this, no laser treatment can ever guarantee 100% permanent hair removal.
Laser uses a concentrated beam of a specific single wavelength of light, adjusted to the colour of the hair being treated and the skin tone of the individual. They target the melanin pigment in the hair follicle and leave the surrounding skin undamaged. Many people have experienced dramatic and significant permanent hair reduction following laser hair removal.

For best results during your initial course of Laser Hair Removal treatment, a minimum of 6 is recommended, spaced 4-8 weeks apart. This will vary depending on skin area and tone. Not all laser or IPL systems offer pernament hair removal but Elysion, due to its high power and effective cooling technology can remove hair permanently. The hairs treated with Elysion will not grow back. However, any future hormonal changes may result in future new growth and require additional treatment in the future.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Eneka Pro is a medical grade diode laser and uses the optimum wavelength of light to deliver heat energy to the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding skin. This selective heating of the follicle disables the hair permanently and over the next 7-10 days post treatment the hair will simply fall out leaving the skin smooth and hair free until the next phase of hair growth appears in 6-8 weeks later.
